Updating the CLI
Use the latest published CLI when you want current installer behavior.
bash
npm install -g scalemax@latest
scalemax --version
# one-time alternative
npx scalemax@latest --versionpowershell
npm.cmd install -g scalemax@latest
scalemax.cmd --version
# one-time alternative
npx.cmd scalemax@latest --versionWindows PowerShell blocks npm’s .ps1 launchers by default (“running scripts is disabled on this system”), so these commands use the .cmd launcher: npx.cmd, npm.cmd, scalemax.cmd. In Command Prompt you can leave out .cmd.
scalemax models always fetches the live list from the API; there is no local model cache to clear.
What the installer itself does is described in Automatic CLI setup, and Removing configuration covers reverting the files it wrote.
