# TRAE SOLO

> Configure TRAE SOLO with the ScaleMax OpenAI-compatible endpoint, model ID, API key, and supported output-token limit.

## Connection settings

- **Provider:** OpenAI Compatible / Custom OpenAI provider
- **API-credit base URL:** `https://api.scalemax.pro/v1`
- **Token-pack base URL:** `https://api.scalemax.pro/token/v1`
- **API key:** your full ScaleMax key
- **Model:** `gpt-5.6-luna`

## TRAE custom model

Open Settings → Models → Add Model. Choose OpenAI Chat Completions. Use `https://api.scalemax.pro/v1/chat/completions` for an API-credit key or `https://api.scalemax.pro/token/v1/chat/completions` for a token-pack key if the UI asks for the full endpoint; use the matching base URL when it asks for a base URL.

## Automatic setup

**macOS / Linux**

Windows PowerShell blocks npm’s .ps1 launchers by default (“running scripts is disabled on this system”), so these commands use the .cmd launcher: npx.cmd, npm.cmd, scalemax.cmd. In Command Prompt you can leave out .cmd.

The installer writes a setup guide with the base URL detected from the key under `~/.scalemax/`.
